Native Vegetation Regulatory (NVR) Map

Do you know that you can check land categories on your property using the Native Vegetation Regulatory (NVR) Map at www.lmbc.nsw.gov.au/Maps/index.html?viewer=NVRMap. Press the blue ‘Start here’ button and search for your property using your address or a Lot and DP number.

Land categories help to determine the rules around vegetation management on your property.

Pink areas on the map are Category 2-sensitive regulated land due to their high conservation value; orange areas are Category 2-vulnerable regulated land as they are prone to erosion if vegetation is removed; grey areas show land excluded from Part 5A of the Local Land Services Act 2013 (LLS Act) and vegetation removal is regulated under other legislation, generally by local councils. Vegetation management in areas not shaded on the NVR Map may also require consideration under the LLS Act.
