Voting opens on 21 May and closes 14 June. Voting packs can be requested until 12 June.

In the North West, 7 candidates will stand for election to the local board, with 3 positions available.

  • HODDLE, Charlotte – Gunnedah
  • COCKBAIN, Jocelyn - Tintinhull

Acting North West Local Land Services General Manager Matthew Davidson said that voting is essential if North West producers want to ensure that the local board best represents their interests.

“Local board members provide strategic direction for our local programs, so strong landholder representation is crucial to ensure that North West Local Land Services delivers what is most needed by our local communities over the next 4 years,” Mr Davidson said.

“We’ve got 7 impressive candidates on the ballot this year, so we are asking producers in our region to request their voting pack before voting opens next week.”

To vote, you must first request a voting pack, which can be sent to you electronically. You can request a voting pack by either:

  • Submitting your request online or
  • Calling Local Land Services on 1300 795 299 or

To be eligible, you must be an individual who is 18 or more years old and an occupier of a rateable holding under the Local Land Services Act 2013. The holding may consist of wholly or partly rateable land.
