Podcast series and case studies to help goat producers and industry

Goat producers and stakeholders in Western NSW now have access to new and exciting resources which will enable them to take their goat business and the industry to the next level.
A 10-part podcast series and 2 video case studies, featuring Western NSW landholders, goat business owners, technical experts and more, are now available and in the process of being promoted far and wide.

The podcast series features episodes that focus on:

  • genetic selection of goats using data
  • running a goat depot and managed goat enterprise
  • transitioning to a goat rotational grazing system
  • the journey of a paddock to plate goat meat business.

The video case studies focus on:

  • goat infrastructure
  • goat trapping.

The launch of these resources coincides with a face-to-face roadshow, which will involve local goat producers and experts at Broken Hill, White Cliffs, Ivanhoe and Coolabah, from 18-21 June.
