Understanding erosion in your landscape workshop - Narrawa
Join us for a FREE erosion workshop with Senior Natural Resource Management Advisor Shane Laverty, LLS.
This practical workshop will help you:
- understand soil capabilities and constraints
- identify salinity and sodicity
- identify types of erosion in the tablelands, their causes and treatments
- observe gully erosion before works, and case studies of erosion control options.
This workshop will include a presentation at Narrawa Hall and a field trip to a local property, weather permitting.
Please bring a hat, sunscreen and appropriate footwear for the field walk.
Participants will be invited to send photos and details of their property erosion problems to discuss in the workshop.
Refreshments on arrival, lunch also provided.
