Regional Pest Animal Plan consultations coming soon

February 2018

Each of the eleven Local Land Services regions has developed a draft Regional Strategic Pest Animal Management Plan (RSPAMP) in partnership with their local stakeholder committee. The RSPAMP is a direct response to the Natural Resource Commission review into the management of pest animals in NSW.

The South East Regional Pest Animal Committee has submitted the draft version of the South East RSPAMP to the Local Land Services Board for review.

Following this, the RSPAMP will be on public display on the Local Land Services website from March 8 until 20 April 2018.

Two public information sessions for the South East are scheduled as follows:

I encourage all members of the South East community who have an interest in production, the environment and the sustainability of the region to read over the RSPAMP and provide comment as they see fit.

I’d like to thank the committee members for the time, effort and energy they have shown in developing the draft South East RSPAMP.

If you have any questions about the plan or the process you can reach me via email or on 02 4842 2594.
