Pasture demonstration field walk | Grenfell

Join Central West Local Land Services for a field walk of our temperate pasture demonstration site.

Technical experts from various seed companies as well as the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development will also be in attendance.

The Grenfell pasture demonstration features 45 different species and varieties of pasture and features:

• temperate perennial grasses
• clovers: aerial, sub and hard seeded
• herbs: chicory/plantain
• lucerne.

The site was sown in 2023, so you will be able to see which pasture species and varieties have persisted through a dry year and tight spring.
