Sustainable Agriculture Projects
We work with landholders, community groups and agriculture industries to support and educate about climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices.
Our support includes:
- best practice natural resource management
- biodiversity and carbon markets
- practices that support emission reductions and build climate resilience on-farm.
Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators
We provide a Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator (SAF) in each region to:
- Engage and inform farmers, landholders, community groups and agriculture industries within their region about climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices.
- Facilitate partnerships and connections to assist farmers, landholders, community groups and agriculture industries to work together.
- Support the delivery of sustainable agriculture projects in their region.
Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators are supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program.
