Sustainable Agriculture Projects

We work with landholders, community groups and agriculture industries to support and educate about climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices.

Our support includes:

  • best practice natural resource management
  • biodiversity and carbon markets
  • practices that support emission reductions and build climate resilience on-farm.

Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators

We provide a Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator (SAF) in each region to:

  1. Engage and inform farmers, landholders, community groups and agriculture industries within their region about climate-smart, sustainable agriculture practices.
  2. Facilitate partnerships and connections to assist farmers, landholders, community groups and agriculture industries to work together.
  3. Support the delivery of sustainable agriculture projects in their region.

Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators are supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program.
