Threatened species of the rangelands

Threatened species of the ranglelands are a focus in the Western region and this project is a continuation of previous work to rehabilitate the habitat for various species.

We are working with private landholders to address the issue of habitat loss caused by soil erosion and to improve the habitat of the threatened species of the rangelands in the downs country of the Far West.

The work also helps with rehydration and natural regeneration of habitat and includes monitoring of grasswrens and land systems.

This project is funded by the Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust.

More details about the project will be coming soon. To find out the latest news and advice for your region, subscribe to one of our newsletters.
